Freddie Mercury was born in Zanzibar in 1947. When he was 17, he moved to England where he later met band members, Roger Taylor, Brian May and John Deacon while in college. He worked with Queen for a total of 21 years. In that time, he has worked on his solo career releasing Mr. Bad Guy and Barcelona. In 1991, he died of Bronchopneumonia as a complication of AIDs.
