Summer courses remain online and deliver a safe, convenient education for our students.

WEST LIBERTY, W.Va., May 26, 2020 — West Liberty University is continuing its online delivery of summer courses as it gears up for the second term of classes that begins on June 22.

“We will continue the success of our online teaching to ensure our students’ safety, as well as our staff. This allows us to deliver the quality education that our students want in a convenient and social distant manner,” said Vice President Scott Cook, who leads the Department of Enrollment Services.

COVID-19 necessitated the online expansion of classes and closure of campus in late March based on the CDC and West Virginia health officials.

“We encourage interested students to take a look at our summer offerings. These classes are accelerated, yet enjoyable and offer an opportunity to get ahead, even during the time of quarantine,” he added.

The second term includes both four-week and six-week classes, along with MBA courses. There also is a third summer term that is strictly for students enrolled in the physician assistant master’s degree program and these classes remain as originally planned, and are not moving online.
