WEST LIBERTY, W.Va., July 20, 2020 — Due to the pandemic, West Liberty University will not have its Community University classes this fall.

“Out of an abundance of safety, we won’t be able to meet for our Community University classes this fall at the  Highlands Campus. We are grateful to our loyal audience and thank them for their interest over the past,” said Savannah Scott, who manages WLU’s Highlands Campus.

WLU’s Community University offers casual learning opportunities to people age 55 and older. Non-credit classes are taught by volunteer presenters.

Scott noted that any learners who are due a refund should contact the WLU Business Office. Otherwise, the fee will be applied to future Community University classes when they resume.

For refund information, please contact Kim Lemley at WLU’s Business Office at 304.336.8350. For general information on the Highlands Center, please contact Scott at 304.336.8301.
