Education

My research focuses on global environmental politics, examining how the impacts of climate change interact with international political economy and shape issues of security. In particular, my work explores how political and economic interests influence responses to climate change, including patterns of domestic and international climate finance. My research also examines the security consequences of environmental change, with particular attention to how resource scarcity can contribute to political instability, armed conflict, and threats to civilian populations.
