Biography

I am an assistant professor teaching courses related to economics, financial literacy, communications and professional development within the College of Business. Before entering academia, I spent over seven years working in the banking and finance industry, which allows me to bring professional experience to the classroom.

My goal as an educator is to help students develop the ability to think critically about economic and financial issues while, at the same time feeling confident in making informed decisions that affect their future. Additionally, in my communications and professional development courses, I strive to help students build the interpersonal skills necessary to succeed in the workplace.

Ultimately, I want students to leave my courses with not only a strong foundation of knowledge, but also the confidence and practical skills to apply what they have learned throughout their professional and personal lives.
