The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences currently offers a minor in International Studies.

International Studies Minor – Course Requirements


The department does not currently offer a major in International Studies. However, if you are interested in focusing your academic studies in this area, there are options to create your own International Studies major through the Interdisciplinary Studies Program. Foreign Language Requirement
Four semesters of the same foreign language (Spanish or French)

8-12 hours project
One independent study project of 8 to 12 semester hours in the form of directed research, an internship, or a combination of several activities related to major undertaken during the junior or senior year.
