Biography
Lizon first began teaching at WLU as an adjunct nineteen years ago. Now a full-time instructor, she has taught a variety of classes, primarily for general studies students, including College Composition and Literature Appreciation for Non-Majors. She has also taught Technical Writing and a variety of literature classes, including Death in Literature, Modern Japanese Literature, Asian Horror, Manga: Survey of Japanese Comics, and an honors seminar on villains.

Like many English teachers, Lizon enjoys reading in her free time, especially Asian literature. She particularly enjoys Asian horror, manga/manhwa, and webtoons. On occasion, she also slays dragons and mechanical beasts, and thwarts mercenaries who are trying to steal the treasure she’s busy stealing. When she doesn’t have a game controller in her hands, she loves watching t.v. and movies, most often Korean variety shows and dramas, and an absurd amount of shows based on comic books.
