Connected Classroom Virtual Learning Series

Thank you for your interest in the Connected Classroom Virtual Learning Series.

The Connected Classroom Series is focused on approaches, resources and tools for teaching and learning in K-16+ classrooms. Educators learn new ways to use engaging and relevant methods and technologies through participating in live fifty-minute Zoom sessions and/or viewing previously recorded fifty-minute sessions on Topper Station, West Liberty University’s virtual streaming platform.

In addition, live Zoom sessions on new topics will be held throughout July 2024. The sessions will also recorded for later viewing on Topper Station, West Liberty University’s virtual streaming platform. Educators may register, at no cost, to participate in any of the ZOOM sessions being offered this fall. Registration closes June 25th, 2024.The

Graduate Credits: Educators participating in each of the Connected Classroom Virtual Learning Series have the option of receiving three graduate credits for recertification and pay increment purposes through West Liberty University. Each course requires participation in or viewing six of the Connected Classroom sessions and the completion of six reflection assignments and a final assignment. The fee for each three-credit continuing education graduate course is $180.

To start the registration process for the Connected Classroom continuing education graduate credit option, please go to https://westliberty.edu/graduate-programs/ and click on the apply button. Select Non Degree Seeking Special Student and then select Connected Classroom. Both new and returning participants need to complete the graduate application.

Thank you for your interest in participating in The Connected Classroom Virtual Learning Series 4.0. There are 16 fifty-minute virtual sessions scheduled on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 5:00 p.m. – 5:50 p.m., between October 6, 2021 and December 2, 2021. The sessions will focus on approaches, resources and tools for teaching and learning in PK-16+ classrooms.

Please complete the information on this form and select the sessions you would like to virtually attend. You will be able to return to the form to add or change your sessions. You will be sent a confirmation e-mail, with the Zoom link for the sessions and other details.

Educators have the option of receiving graduate credit, through West Liberty University, for their participation in the Connected Classroom Virtual Learning Series 4.0 this fall. A three credit option (for re-certification and pay increments) is available at the special rate or $180.
