Bob and Judy McNabb Scholarship

BACKGROUND
The Bob and Judy McNabb Scholarship was established in 2022 by the members of the McNabb family. Bob and Judy McNabb met at West Liberty University and graduated with degrees in Education in 1961. During his time at West Liberty, Bob was a standout member and captain of the men’s basketball team; in 2001, Bob was inducted into the WLU Hall of Fame. Meanwhile, Judy was a member of the Alpha Tau Gamma sorority and to this day holds special friendships and memories with her sorority sisters.

The purpose of the Bob and Judy McNabb Scholarship is to support a West Virginia native who, like Bob and Judy, has chosen Education as a career. Education is a career that provides promise and purpose. Bob led Martins Ferry High School as a principal for 33 years, and Judy served as a first-grade teacher for 23 years.
