The Parent Project will provide a series of workshops for area parents (and other interested community members) in a regional tri-state area. Beyond traditional lecture-based workshops, the Parent Project will provide an interactive and hands-on forum for parents, and other interested parties, to gain expertise and advanced knowledge of issues relevant to raising healthy children. The workshops will be held at the West Liberty University Highlands Center throughout the fall of 2012 and spring of 2013 in the evenings. To accommodate families with young children, child-care will be provided on site by the Children’s Museum of the Ohio Valley and College of Education at WLU.
