Mission and Vision

Mission

The College of Sciences is committed to providing affordable, high-quality education in the basic sciences, mathematics and health sciences, through experiential learning, research and individualized attention, in a supportive, safe and caring environment. The College will graduate students who are qualified to assume their roles in the global workforce while contributing to the community. Graduates will assume leadership roles and stimulate interest in the basic sciences, mathematics and health sciences.

Vision

The vision of the West Liberty University College of Sciences is to be the most outstanding health and natural sciences education facility in the region. The College’s curriculum, courses of study, and experiential practices will mirror current and future trends in the health and natural sciences to prepare our graduates for the regional, national and global workforce. The College of Sciences will strive to develop new programs and perform research that comprise the foundations for teaching and service, and maintain those activities at the forefront of emerging disciplines and practices.
