Jared Thompson

Jared, who is a native of Woodsfield, Ohio, is a 2009 graduate of West Liberty University with a bachelors degree in Digital Media Design and graduated in 2013 from West Liberty with a Masters of Arts in Education degree with an emphasis in educational technology. Currently, he is pursuing an MFA in Film from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. For the past twelve years, he has also owned and operated a video production company; Thompson Video Productions, and has served as the videographer and web content producer for the West Virginia Governor’s School for the Arts since 2008. Jared resides in Wheeling and is currently employed by West Liberty University as a Senior Producer and Engineer for WLUTV – 14 and serves as an adjunct professor of Communications and Digital Media Design. Outside of work and education, Jared  enjoys biking, cooking, photography, exploring the outdoors, landscaping, organizing and sorting things, and of course, anything video related.
