In this edition of Faculty Focus, part three of WGLZ\u2019s four-part\u00a0Passionately Vocal<\/em> interview series, host Hope Bowman sits down with West Liberty University Athletic Director, Brad Forshey.<\/p>\n

The conversation begins with an inside look at what an athletic director actually does, including the responsibilities and behind-the-scenes work that help keep WLU athletics running. Brad discusses what he enjoys most about the job, how he found his way into athletic administration, and the career moments that shaped his path.<\/p>\n

Hope and Brad dive into the culture of WLU athletics, exploring the family-like environment on a smaller campus, the challenges student-athletes face today, and the academic, mental, and personal support systems the department tries to provide. Brad also reflects on the strong community presence at games and what makes Hilltopper fans so loyal.<\/p>\n

In the second half of the interview, the focus shifts toward the future of West Liberty athletics. Brad talks about upcoming goals, potential faculty upgrades, and how he prioritizes long-term projects.
