Hope Bowman was born and raised in Wellsburg, WV. She went to Brooke High School and graduated in the class 2019.\u00a0 Around the age of 10 she fell in love with Basketball and has played ever since.\u00a0 She attended Wheeling University on a scholarship but transferred to West Liberty University for academics. Going into her Junior year, she made an impulsive decision to get back on a team and is now on the basketball team for the Toppers.<\/p>\n

She is studying communication and broadcasting in hopes to become a sports news anchor after graduation.\u00a0 Her goal is to start working local at WTOV9 news and work her way up to bigger news organizations, maybe KDKA news in Pittsburgh, PA.<\/p>\n

Some hobbies include reading, coloring, watching true crime television, and spending time with friends. Her current favorite book to read is Verity by Colleen Hoover. Dateline and Snapped are her favorite true crime shows. A podcast Hope really enjoys listening to is Crime Junkies as well as Morbid to feed her craving for true crime. When she has downtime from school, basketball, and work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as her cat named Beanie.<\/p>\n
