Mason Riter was born <\/span>in Clarksburg, WV<\/span>.<\/span> <\/span>He <\/span>soon moved to Middlebourne, WV<\/span> at the age of 6 and attended Borema<\/span>n Elementary and later attended Tyler Consolidated High School<\/span>.<\/span> He<\/span> graduated in the Class of 2020.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Mason likes to spend <\/span>his time with <\/span>playing video games with his high school<\/span> friends.<\/span> <\/span>He got his first <\/span>PlayStation <\/span>4 in middle school where he met his <\/span>best friends for life<\/span>.<\/span> <\/span>They <\/span>played Call<\/span> of Duty: Black Ops 3<\/span> <\/span>every day<\/span> after school.<\/span> He also likes computer gaming<\/span>. During the summer of 2020, he bought all the components to build his very own <\/span>gaming computer<\/span>.<\/span> That is where he met many more friends from around the world<\/span> by playing a zombie survival game called DayZ.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

During his junior year of high school<\/span>, he started taking the classes required to be a State Certified Completer <\/span>in Broadcasting Technology. It all started with his <\/span>first radio class<\/span>, where h<\/span>e fell in love with the profession<\/span> of <\/span>broadcasting.<\/span> Being able to express yourself <\/span>in your voice rather than looks on a television screen.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

After graduation from W<\/span>LU, Mason wants to find a radio station where he can travel around <\/span>and cover sports like football and basketball<\/span>. If he cannot find a station accepting new personalities<\/span>, he will look for a job where he films <\/span>football and basketball games<\/span> for TV or a livestreaming service.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

College Radio is the <\/span>next <\/span>steppingstone<\/span> into the world of radio<\/span>. <\/span>It a<\/span>llows the student to learn and understand <\/span>the technology and regulations that <\/span>radio stations <\/span>must follow. <\/span>Also <\/span>gives the student a voice in their school and the surrounding community.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n
