Stephen Dougherty

Stephen Dougherty is originally from Shelby Township, Michigan but has lived most of his life in Wheeling West Virginia. He attended Wheeling Park High School and now attends West Liberty University, where he is working on getting his degree in Communications. He enjoys learning the art of communicating and understanding the different theories and explanations around how and why humans behave the way they do. He believes understanding these various theories and expanding them will allow him to further develop his skills in the field of broadcasting so people can receive more comprehendible and accurate information of the world’s events.

He has many different hobbies. One of which is playing first person shooter video games like Overwatch and Call of Duty. He also enjoys creating and editing videos, which he does in his free time for fun. Just like many other people, he loves to binge watch shows on Netflix and Hulu. His favorite shows range from South Park, to The Flash, and Archer. He is currently the Vice-President of the Gaming Club at West Liberty. He hopes to one-day work in video editing for major producers in Hollywood movies and television. College radio is honestly something that he has never considered before, but hopes to learn new various skills and knowledge to further along his education in the pursuit of his career.
