Aaron Jeffries is a nineteen-year-old broadcasting major at West Liberty University. He was born and raised in Moundsville, West Virginia. He is a graduate of Speiro Academy, a Christian school that specializes in fine arts. It was at Speiro where he learned to play drums, guitar, bass, and keyboard, all of which continue to play a major role in his life. He is currently a musician on New Heart Covenant Christian Center’s worship band. He also enjoys giving private music lessons.
Aaron, who enjoys meeting new people, thought it beneficial to find hobbies that could help him connect with others. When he isn’t playing music, you may find him playing golf, shooting pool, or watching a sporting event on television. Although he strives to play the perfect round of golf, to shoot the perfect game of pool and to see any of his favorite sports teams take home another championship, he knows that what truly matters are the relationships that are developed along the way.
While at West Liberty University, Aaron hopes to form lasting friendships with other students. He believes college radio is an excellent tool to help the student body connect. He believes that it provides a means for individual stories to be shared and is an outlet for voices to be heard. After graduation, Aaron aspires to be a professional radio personality or sports announcer.
