Dr. Wilfong is a sought-after lecturer on the subject of transient voltage surge suppression and has presented seminars on the subject to hundreds of audiences. Among those are several Fortune 500 companies, including FORD, IBM, General Dynamics, Keebler, Fairchild, and Phillips Petroleum. He has conducted seminars in the international market as well, including Taiwan, Peru, France Canada, Germany, Singapore, Thailand, and Holland.
Not only a noted speaker, Dr. Wilfong has authored several articles for presentations to some of the most respected authorities in the field. Included in this list are Power Quality International, the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the Pentagon, and the PEG Committee (Protection Engineers Group). Most recently, Dr. Wilfong was asked to participate in two major conferences, one a Governor’s Conference on International Trade and the other, The Disaster Avoidance and Recovery Conference.
Dr. Wilfong has served on various technical advisory committees including the Naval Standards Committee and the OEM Committee for Surge Suppression. Presently, Innovative Technology, Inc. is involved in the IEEE standards committees for surge protection devices.
