Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity founded in 1907 and organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce; and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.

Today, Delta Sigma Pi has over 300 collegiate and alumni chapters and over 226,000 members around the world.

The Delta Eta Mu Colony of Delta Sigma Pi at West Liberty University was organized in September, 2010 as the preliminary step in the reorganization of a Delta Sigma Pi Chapter.  The fraternity was previously active on campus in the 1960s.
