Student body elects new SGA president, vice president

 West Liberty University’s Student Government Association held elections for the president and vice president, along with senate members, on Wednesday, April 25. Zach Rhodes and Anna Malone were elected as president and vice president, respectively.

SGA offers NYC trip for second year

This past week, West Liberty University’s Student Government Association (SGA) announced a red eye bus trip to New York City. The trip, open to students, staff and faculty, will leave campus on April 6 and return on April 8.

The third week of Toppers Got Talent took place this Monday night, Nov. 20 at 8 p.m. in the College Union. Contestants Devante Brown, Alexis Smith, Andrew Mehler as Boston Michaels, Audrey Blust and Sean McCarty returned for the third round.

The second week of Toppers Got Talent took place this Monday, Nov. 13 at 8 p.m. No contestants were eliminated last week, and all were able to return for the second round. SGA also gave out free t-shirts and snacks throughout the evening.

West Liberty’s new talent show, Toppers Got Talent, aims to challenge West Lib Idol. The four-week talent show will start at 8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 6 and will continue on every Monday, Nov. 13, 20, and 27, in the College Union Ballroom.
