West Liberty University All-American post player Marissa Brown is eager to win the conference championship for the women’s basketball team at her final season.
The West Liberty men’s and women’s basketball team will play against Glenville State College this Saturday in Glenville, West Virginia. Tip-off for the women’s game is scheduled for 2 p.m., with the men’s game scheduled to start at 4 p.m.

It was another big scoring night for the WLU senior forward Marissa Brown. In 40 minutes, Brown scored a game-high 39 points and pulled down 15 rebounds, her twelfth double-double this season.

She transferred from Gannon University, where she played her first two collegiate seasons. In her junior year, she led the nation with 106 3-pointers and earned second team All-MEC honors.
