Studying abroad is a once in a lifetime opportunity. It provides a cultural knowledge of the world that you can’t get anywhere else, and it also expands your experience beyond the classroom. West Liberty University has been offering study abroad programs for a few years. Although they can be a bit pricey, students are encouraged to take on the adventure.

WLU opens development offices in downtown Wheeling

The city of Wheeling now has a small piece of West Liberty in their atmosphere. The West Liberty University Foundation is leasing office spaces located at 1100 Main Street, otherwise known as the former Horne’s building, as multi-purpose units. These offices will be used as easy access for outside business meetings with West Liberty University.

WLU College of Business holds Honors Banquet

Members of the Gary E. West College of Business held their honors banquet this evening in the ASRC’s Boyle Room. Faculty, friends, and family gathered to recognize and celebrate the achievements of several students before many of them graduate on May 13.

26th Annual Student Research Competition still accepting entries

The Student Research Competition returns to West Liberty for its 26th year. The competition has two categories: the first is Social Sciences, Humanities, Business and Education, and the second is Natural Sciences and Math.

MBA enrollment more than triples original count

The MBA, or Masters of Business Administration, has seen a recent spike in enrollment in West Liberty University’s Gary E. West College of Business. 
 
It is a 30 credit hour, 100 percent online program that is accessible to students no matter where they are. Dr. Gregory Chase is the MBA program director, and he has seen much progress in what little time it has been in action.
