Each new year brings about new projects here on campus, but the two noticeable acquisitions to the hilltop are the new West Family Athletic Complex and the Belmont Savings Bank Indoor Practice Facility. Following a delayed schedule due to the weather, WLU maintenace is putting the final touches on the new complex.

The new apartment concept was introduced for the first time during the WLU Board of Governors meeting on Oct. 3 in order to solve the need of more campus housing.

On Aug. 8, 2018, the HLC president confirmed West Liberty’s reaffirmation of accreditation in an email to university president Dr. Stephen Greiner.
