Painting with Light: The Art and Craft of Lighting Design

Todd Nonn, Pittsburgh based Lighting Designer, has designed lights for Theatres all over the country.  Todd will be providing the  workshop “Painting with Light: The Art and Craft of Lighting Design” on Wednesday, December 7th at 6:00pm.  The workshop will take place on WLU’s campus in the Fine Arts’ Kelly Theatre and will cover the basics of lighting, a discussion on the options afforded most lighting designers, a demonstration of some lighting techniques, and plenty of time to ask any/all the questions one might have about lighting design for the Theatre.

The workshop will be a great opportunity for theatre company’s in the region to come and learn more about how to use light for their shows.  It will provide information to the lighting novice as well as people who may have some experience working with lights.

The workshop is free and open to the public.  For more information, contact Michael Aulick at maulick@westliberty.edu.
