Theatre Scholarships

The West Liberty Theatre Program has scholarship money and housing waivers that are used for scholarships. Awards are given to performers and designers and range from $1,500-$2,500/year and are awarded after a candidate ‘auditions’ for the program. PERFORMER AUDITION: Candidates will perform 2 contrasting monologues for the committee (selections should be from copyrighted plays and should not go over 3 minutes total). If performers sing, they may bring 18-24 bars of a musical theatre selection as well (not required). DESIGN AUDITION: Candidates will bring their artistic portfolio and present their work in a 5-10 minute presentation. Headshots, resumes, and letters of recommendation are not required, but are often very beneficial to the candidate. Complete this registration form when you are ready to sign-up for an audition for the Theatre Program.
