The Hilltop Players took part in a “Cemetery Walk” this past Saturday at the Old Cemetery in West Liberty as part of the events during the West Liberty Festival. Eleven actors standing by the graves of the individuals that they portrayed talked to the audience about the lives of the people buried there. They were assisted by Narrator and WLU Professor Emeritus Earl Nicodemus who has done extensive research on the residents of the cemetery and as such is the authority on the lives and events of those buried at the site. This was the second event of this type in which the Players participated. Delaney Bird assisted Meta Lasch in coordinating the event. Students participating were Carly Balog, Autumn Carver, Rose Cunningham, Andrew Dillie, David Gaudio, Paul Geisler, Hayden Heiserman, Benjamin Moore, Alicia Parsons, Amanda Tamplen, and Daniel White.
