Dr. Eveldora Wheeler, Associate Professor, joined the Department of Social Work at West Liberty University in fall 2017. Previously, she served on the faculty of the School of Social Work at West Virginia University and at the University of Indianapolis. Dr. Wheeler’s research explores emotional intelligence integration and socialization of digital technology, specifically in pedagogy and social media. Other areas of interest include social emotional literacy, sustained dialogue, human diversity, and addictions. Dr. Wheeler is a licensed clinical social worker with over 17 years of clinical practice in child welfare, including working with adults as a medical social worker. She has extensive management experience in corporate and non-profit sectors, as well as leadership roles in academia.
