Background

Mrs. Jennifer Childers, MSPAS, PA-C, serves as an associate professor for the West Liberty University Physician Assistant Program.  She began clinical practice in 1999, specializing in pain management and neurosurgery before becoming involved with Physician Assistant education as an assistant professor for the Alderson-Broaddus College Physician Assistant Program in 2004.  She later joined the Marietta College Physician Assistant Program in 2008 where she served as faculty prior to joining the WLU PA faculty in 2014.  Past educational roles include clinical coordinator and faculty instructor. Mrs. Childers has traveled to Cambodia and Tanzania on medical mission trips serving as a medical provider.  Part-time clinical roles while employed in education have included occupational medicine and women’s health.  She is currently employed part-time in behavioral medicine, specializing in interventional psychiatric medicine.
