Background

Ms. Brittney Sobota, MSPAS, PA-C joined the program as an assistant professor in July 2022. Brittney is from the Wheeling area, and she is a graduate of Wheeling Park High School. She received her Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science at West Liberty before graduating with her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Alderson-Broaddus, where she received the Outstanding Senior Female Award and was the inaugural recipient of the Shearer-Keenan Award. Prior to coming to WLU she worked in both Cardiovascular Surgery and Internal Medicine.  Ms. Sobota teaches in program courses such as Health Promotion, Physical Diagnosis, Clinical Skills, and Clinical Medicine.  She enjoys spending her free time with her family, her horses, and her chickens.
