WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. —The West Liberty University Foundation is pleased to welcome West Liberty University students Nessa Culver and Charles Fuscardo as student interns. Culver will serve as the Foundation’s Finance Intern, while Fuscardo will work as an intern in the Foundation office.

Nessa Culver, of Scio, Ohio, is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a double major in accounting and marketing and an expected graduation date of May 2028. Culver brings relevant financial and leadership experience to her position through her role as treasurer of Lambda Psi Sigma, where she manages the organization’s finances, including budgeting, collecting funds and tracking expenditures. She previously served as an office assistant at the Harrison County Courthouse, where her responsibilities included data collection, calculations and reviewing budgets.

Charles Fuscardo, of Wellsburg, W.Va., is a finance major entering his senior year at West Liberty University. Fuscardo previously completed an internship with Commonwealth Financial Services in Wheeling, where he gained exposure to the finance profession and the operations of a financial services business.

“We are pleased to welcome Nessa and Charlie to the Foundation,” said Betsy Delk, Executive Director of the WLU Foundation. “Our internship program provides students with an opportunity to gain meaningful professional experience while contributing to the work of the Foundation. We look forward to having them as part of our team.”

As Finance Intern, Culver will provide support for the Foundation’s financial operations. Fuscardo will assist with day-to-day activities in the Foundation office and gain experience in the work of a nonprofit organization supporting West Liberty University.

The Foundation’s student internship program is overseen by Kyle Lutz, Administrative Assistant and Coordinator of the Hilltopper Athletic Club.
