WLU Summer Terms Thriving at The Highlands Center

Share

For the first time in history, West Liberty University’s Summer offerings have been hosted away from the main Campus at The Highlands Center.

Dr. John McCullough, Provost, said the move to the Highlands Center has proved quite popular.  ‘Our overall Summer enrollment is up approximately 70% as we are well on our way to the largest Summer enrollment in West Liberty’s history — thanks to the location, accessibility, modern classrooms, and state-of-the-art technology,’ he said.

All summer courses have been offered at the Highlands excluding those that are lab courses and physical education activity courses.  According to Scott Cook, registrar, West Liberty administration and faculty will continue to look at courses being offered and determine if additions are needed to meet the needs of West Liberty students and the local community.

In an effort to keep the summer term affordable courses are $150 per credit hour for in-state students and $180 per credit hour for out-of-state students.
