The April 14 Graduate Fair, from 2 p.m.to 5 p.m. in the ASRC lobby, will be a one-stop shop for graduating seniors. Graduating seniors will be able to meet with various offices on campus at one time and place to complete all of their graduation business.
Participating offices include:
- Bookstore (students can pick up cap and gowns, buy graduation announcements, purchase diploma frames)
- Business Office (students can finalize payment)
- Financial Aid (students can complete and get information on loan exit interviews)
- Career Services (students will receive information about alumni campus resources)
- Alumni (students can learn about the Alumni Association)
- Disability Services (students can make requests for family members attending the ceremony)
A representative will also be available with information about the Master of Arts in Education program at WLU.
According to Bridgette Dawson with the WLU Center for Student Success, “the event will be fun and festive.” All participating offices are donating raffle prizes, she says, and there will also be light refreshments. “The goal of the event is to give our graduating seniors an easy and fun way to get ready for graduation,” she explains.
Graduating seniors with questions may call Ms. Dawson at 336-8018.
