Whitney Inkster has been named the new Director of Publications in the Office of Institutional Advancement at West Liberty University.
Reporting directly to Jason Koegler, VP of Institutional Advancement, Inkster’s responsibilities will include website design and maintenance, as well as graphic design. She will also develop all marketing and recruitment publications for the university.
“I am thrilled to join West Liberty’s staff. My main focus will be on the creation and update of WLU’s website and the individual colleges’ sites. I’m excited for all the new changes,” said Inkster
Prior to joining WLU’s staff, Inkster owned the freelance design studio Wink! Web Design. Her client list included: Sistersville General Hospital, Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, Wheeling Central Catholic High School, Lynn Buch Interiors, Ohio Valley General School of Nursing Alumni and many more.
“Whitney’s background in web and graphic design will help to elevate our presence on the web and through our marketing initiatives. It’s great to have her talents on staff,” said WLU President Robin Capehart.
Inkster graduated summa cum laude with a BA from Mercyhurst College and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Science Education. Born and raised in Binghamton, NY, Inkster and her husband Matt (Director of Instrumental Activities/Associate Professor of Music at WLU) reside in Wheeling with their children Madison, Aidan and Brendan.
