Jason Koegler has been named the new Vice President of Institutional Advancement at West Liberty University.  After three years in the Office of Development at West Liberty, Koegler was chosen to lead the newly formed Office of Institutional Advancement.

“I am extremely excited to take on this new venture at the University. I am surrounded by a great team that will work together to increase fundraising, alumni engagement and community outreach,” said Koegler.

Reporting directly to President Robin Capehart, Koegler will oversee the offices of Development, Marketing, Alumni, Community Engagement, Publications and the University’s television station, WLTV-14.

“Jason has a strong leadership and management background that greatly compliments West Liberty University’s mission as an institution that is positioned for growth,” said Capehart. “Jason will continue to lead fundraising initiatives for the University as he takes on this new challenge,” added Capehart.

Koegler earned a BA degree from Sonoma State University, Rohnert Park, CA.  He is a 2009 graduate of Leadership West Virginia and a Wheeling Symphony Youth Orchestra board member.  Born and raised in Wheeling, Jason resides in Woodsdale with his wife Sarah and two children Campbell (5) and William (3).
