WEST LIBERTY, W.Va., Sept. 29, 2022 — The West Liberty University Foundation invites alumni and the public to attend its annual Recognition Banquet, which is part of the WLU’s 2022 Homecoming weekend.
The Friday, Oct. 21 Recognition Banquet honors members of the John P. McCullough Society, Nathan Shotwell Society, President’s Circle, and the 2022 Impact of Philanthropy Award recipients.
“The Impact of Philanthropy award is presented to a select group of donors who have given a generous amount of $25,000 or more during fiscal year 2022 to advance priority projects for WLU.
“We are grateful for their incredible support and invite our friends to join us as we express our gratitude!” said Angela Zambito Hill, president of the WLU Foundation.
The banquet begins with a cocktail hour at 6 p.m. in the newly renovated College Union on the beautiful WLU campus.
“It is a great way to begin our Homecoming Weekend and the perfect prelude to Saturday’s festivities,” she said.
“The WLU Foundation wants to raise awareness about the impact of philanthropy on our student and campus community. The partnership we share with generous donors is critical to our ability to strengthen the university and help our students. We are grateful to our donors for the 2022 for their role in this process.”
