WLU Students Succeed at Alpha Chi National Convention

WEST LIBERTY, W.Va, April 22, 2024 — West Liberty students Ishika Agarwal, Tiffany Sites, Madelyn Logan, and Abigail Farnsworth attended and participated in the 2024 Alpha Chi National Convention in Birmingham, Alabama this spring. The theme of the convention was “Leaders for Tumultuous Times.”

Alpha Chi is an interdisciplinary honor society that admits the top ten percent of juniors, seniors, and graduate students with over 400 chapters nationwide. The WLU chapter of Alpha Chi, West Virginia Epsilon, holds inductions annually.

“I am very proud of the students. Their presentations and papers were outstanding and were deservedly recognized. Along with Dr. Melinda Kreisberg and Dr. Angela Rehbein, co-advisors, we are thrilled to offer the opportunity to our students,” said Dr. Linda Cowan, the President of Alpha Chi National Council and a WLU professor of music.
