The Third Annual West Liberty University Foundation Scholarship Dinner and Academy of Honor Induction will be held on Friday, October 28th. The activities start at 6:00 p.m. with a cocktail reception. The dinner and induction ceremony start at 7:00 p.m. in the College Union. The Academy of Honor recognizes alumni, friends and former employees of West Liberty who have consistently demonstrated extraordinary commitment, dedication and service to the advancement of the institution. Past inductees are Nathan Shotwell, John Shaw, Paul Elbin, Raymond Hughes, Nelle Krise, Joseph Bartell, William Curtis, John Bonar and Albert Blatnik. This year’s inductees are Dr. Clyde D. Campbell, President Emeritus, West Liberty University and Sarah Whitaker Glass, founding benefactor of the Department of Dental Hygiene. Proceeds from the event benefit the West Liberty University Foundation Endowed Scholarship Fund.
