West Liberty University Highlands Center Hosting Infotainment Night

Share

West Liberty University’s Highlands Center will host an Infotainment Night on Friday, Nov. 12 from 7-9 pm. This event will help to answer questions about courses offered, degree programs and general information about the WLU Highlands Center.

Those thinking about returning to college to finish their bachelor’s degree are invited to bring their families and friends for an evening combining live musical entertainment from local band, Bridges, with learning about returning to college.

At the Infotainment Night, people will be able to tour the WLU Highlands Center facility, get information about bachelor’s completion programs, and be able to ask questions of the staff if they wish.

“Many people in the Ohio Valley come to the Highlands on Friday evenings to eat dinner, shop and catch a movie,” said Rhonda Tysk, campus manager.  “We wanted people to be able to stop by when they were already in the area.  Everyone’s lives are busy these days, and we wanted to do something to help them enjoy their Friday evenings while still feeling like they are accomplishing something important by taking that first step in returning to college.”

The Infotainment Night is free and people are welcome to stop by at any time during the two hour event. Light refreshments will be served.

For more information or to rsvp for the event, please contact West Liberty University Highlands Center at 304-217-2800.
