West Liberty University Financial Planning Seminar Series Opens Thursday, June 17th

Representatives of United Bank to Present “Trusts In Financial Planning”

For the opening week of the West Liberty University Financial Planning Seminar Series titled “Financial Planning in Uncertain Times”, WLU welcomes David G. Underwood, Jane T. Sargent and Dwight Pittenger of United Bank for “The Use of Trusts in Financial Planning” at its Highlands Center Thursday, June 17th at 7:00 p.m.

David Underwood is Vice President and Advanced Planning Specialist for United Bank and brings 30 years of experience in estate planning, preparation of will and trust administration. He is a graduate of West Virginia University and received a Juris Doctorate from Ohio Northern University.

Janet Sargent, (CTFA) is Vice President and a Senior Wealth Advisor with United Bank. She is a licensed insurance agent and a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor. She has been a member of the United team since 1977.

Dwight Pittenger (CFP) is a portfolio manager with United Bank. A graduate of Ohio University he holds a Master of Business Administration from Xavier University. He brings 25 years of investment experience and business management to wealth management.

“We are delighted to start this series with three outstanding individuals who bring years of financial planning experience to the program,” stated Ron Witt, Director of Planned Giving at West Liberty.

The series will continue on Thursdays through August 5th, 2010 (no session July 1) at WLU’s Highlands Center.  All sessions are available free of charge and open to the general public.  For further information or to register for a session, please contact the WLU Development Office: giving@westliberty.edu or (304) 336-8079.  Registration may also be completed at the seminar.
