WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. — West Liberty University’s Dental Hygiene Class of 2026 has achieved a remarkable milestone by earning a 100% first-attempt pass rate on the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination, underscoring the program’s continued commitment to academic excellence and student success.
While the University’s Dental Hygiene Program consistently maintains an outstanding average first-attempt pass rate of 94%, achieving a perfect 100% is a rare accomplishment that reflects both the strength of the program and the dedication of its students.
The National Board Dental Hygiene Examination is a significant milestone for aspiring dental hygienists, assessing the knowledge and critical thinking skills required for entry into professional practice. Success on the examination represents an important step toward licensure and careers dedicated to improving oral health in communities across the region and beyond.
