WEST LIBERTY, W.Va., March 27, 2018 — West Liberty University and Blue Ridge Community and Technical College (CTC) recently signed a new transfer agreement for business students pursuing bachelor degrees in Business Administration with a general business major.

The agreement offers an easy way to transfer from a Blue Ridge CTC associate degree program into the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree program at WLU.

“This new partnership offers new opportunity for students and for the entire state of West Virginia which needs more college graduates in its workforce.,” said Dr. Stephen Greiner, WLU president. “We welcome inquiries from Blue Ridge Community and Technical College students and encourage them to take advantage of this seamless way to transfer and earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at the Gary E. West College of Business.”

Under the transfer agreement, students may transfer up to 72 credit hours toward the bachelor degree program.

“For many, earning an associate degree is the first achievement in a student’s academic career,” said Dr. Peter Checkovich, founding president of Blue Ridge Community and Technical College. “Transfer agreements between institutions promote lifetime learning by establishing a clear pathway for students to pursue additional academic goals.”
