Members of the West Virginia Senate have elected West Liberty University graduate Jeffrey V. Kessler ’77, to serve as their new president.
The Marshall County Democrat has been a state senator since 1997. He practices law in Moundsville with the firm Berry, Kessler, Crutchfield, Taylor & Gordon. Kessler succeeds Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin as president of the Senate.
