West Liberty, W.Va., April 11, 2024- West Liberty University’s Gary E. West College of Business will host an interactive and networking-focused Executive Seminar event for students to gain a deeper knowledge of industry operations and experience from Touchstone Research Laboratory, Ltd President and CEO, Brian Joseph.  Students will be able to ask pertinent industry questions, with the addition of a networking breakout afterward with Brian Joseph’s associates.

Brian Joseph will present his journey on Thursday, April 11 at 8:30 A.M in the ASRC Boyle Conference Room.

Brian Joseph started his journey in Wheeling, WV, and completed his undergraduate degree at West Liberty University.  Brian then went on to complete his master’s degree at The Ohio State University, where he studied the respected field of biophysics.

He knew he was born to be an inventor at a young age, especially with his knack and appreciation for science.  In 1980, Brian discovered he could rebuild microscopes, which was inherently the spark that would later become Touchstone Research Laboratory, Ltd.

Brian Joseph now holds over thirty patents and has managed over $150 million of R&D programs both in the private sector and for the government.  From his R&D successes, he has created many successful companies from his brilliant inventions at Touchstone.

Outside of his work at Touchstone, Brian Joseph enjoys his individuality and creativity, boasting a Vanderhall car and a hydroplane race boat.  Brian Joseph also served as a West Liberty University board member for nine years, serving as a chairman for three of those years.
