Topperfest Highlights Move-In

WEST LIBERTY, W.Va., Aug. 19, 2021 – It’s back to campus for West Liberty University students who move into campus housing over the next few days. Move-in is taking place in a staggered fashion to allow social distancing due to the ongoing pandemic and the rise of the delta variant. Masks are required inside all buildings.

A variety of safe activities are planned to make it a smooth transition from home to Hilltop.

First year students are shown checking in with the Krise Hall Resident Assistants staff today. 

New students (transfer and first year) move-in on Aug. 19 and 20, students residing in WLU apartments and houses, move in on Aug. 20 and 21, and returning students move into residence halls on Aug. 21 and 22.

Classes begin at the Highlands Center campus on Saturday, Aug. 21 and on the Main Campus on Aug. 23. The Housing and Residence Life Office assists students and their families to settle in.

Student Life staff coordinates Topperfest activities, a group of entertaining events designed to welcome students to West Liberty University and help them to get comfortable with campus that take place from Aug. 19 – Sept. 3.

Topperfest starts with an 8 p.m. Mini-Golf for students on the Hoge Quadrangle known simply as the Quad.
