TOASTMASTERS CLUB PLANS CHARTER NIGHT DINNER

The West Liberty University Toastmaster Club will receive its charter from Toastmasters
International on Monday, May 21st, 6:00 p.m., at Hoss’s in Elm Grove. The club was organized
last October and will be presented its charter from Toastmasters District 13 officials, Stephanie
Scott, District Governor and Steve Templeton, Lt. Governor of Marketing.
The charter presentation and program will follow dinner. Vanessa Matthews, who recently
won an award for competing in the District’s speech contest, will be presenting a speech. WLU
Toastmasters Club member Earl Nicodemus will also be presenting a speech as part of the
evening’s activities.
The West Liberty University Toastmasters Club is one of 13,000 Toastmaster clubs around
the world providing its members with training in public speaking and leadership. The club
meets the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at 5:00 p.m. at the WLU Highlands Center.
