Spring Open House Planned for Saturday, March 19th

Share

Prospective West Liberty University students and their parents are welcome to the Hilltop this Saturday to get a preview of the college experience.

Preregistration is from 8 a.m.to 8:50 a.m. but walk-ons are welcome.  Campus tours will be conducted until 1 p.m. and visitors can meet faculty and students in their desired major fields of study.  Introductions can also be made to potential roommates for students planning to live in the residence halls.

Counselors will be on hand for parents and prospective students with questions about financial aid and the admissions process.  There will also be sessions on campus life and current students will be available to answer questions from students contemplating enrollment.

An academic and campus life “fair” will be part of the open house representing every university department and academic major.  Sixty stations will comprise the fair.

A special guest at the open house is West Liberty alumnae Cali Young, Miss West Virginia and “Topper Bear” will be glad to have his photo taken with those visiting campus Saturday.

Though high schools juniors and seniors will find the open house especially useful, freshmen and even alumni are welcome too.  Lunch is included as part of the day’s activities.

Those with more questions need only visit the admissions tab on the University website or call Courtney Drahos in the admissions office at (304) 336-8125.
