West Liberty University’s first Great Gala event is sold out after an overwhelming response from the community. The Great Gala is set for April 30 in the Glessner Auditorium at Oglebay Park. Festivities begin with a cocktail reception at 6 p.m. followed by dinner and entertainment at 7 p.m. Music will be provided by the Boilermaker Jazz Band of Pittsburgh and Great Gatsby-style fun.
“We are extremely impressed with the support from our sponsors and the community,” commented Jason Koegler, VP of Institutional Advancement for WLU. “This is the first fundraising event WLU has done to engage the community and it’s great to know we have the support from alumni, friends and the community.”
All funds raised will go to the help with the construction on the new Health Care Sciences Building on WLU’s main campus.
