Myths & Legends Opens in Nutting Gallery

Faculty Exhibition now open

WEST LIBERTY, W.Va., Jan. 24, 2020 — Myth’s & Legends, the 2020 WLU Faculty Exhibition opened this week and includes work from all art faculty plus work by photographer Mark Campbell of Prestige Photography and work from Kasia Nowakowska.

Campbell is an adjunct instructor of photography at WLU and Nowakowska is a visiting professor from Poland who teaches printmaking and studio art.

Art faculty includes, Brian Fencl, Dr. Susan Ridley, james Haizlett, Martyna Matusiak, Moonjung Kang, Sarah Davis and Dr. Jeffrey Grubbs.

The Myths & Legends exhibit remains on display through Feb. 14.

Located in the Hall of Fine Arts, the Nutting Gallery is an outreach of the College of Arts and Communication.

It is dedicated to educating, enriching and engaging students and the public through art exhibitions of the highest quality and to promoting the visual arts within the WLU community.

All exhibitions at the Nutting Gallery are free and open to the public.

The Nutting Gallery is open 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays. Evenings and weekends are by arrangement only.
