Hughes Lecture Series Presents Author Darrin Doyle

The Hughes Lecture Series is proud to present our spring Hughes Lecturer, Darrin Doyle. He will present on Wednesday, March 30, with 2 opportunities to hear him speak.
Doyle will be appearing at Speakeasy on March 30 at noon in the Social Room of the Chapel (lunch is free for students).  In addition, Doyle will deliver the official Hughes Lecture in theAlumni Lounge of the College Union at 8:00 p.m. (light refreshments provided).

 

Doyle is the author of the novels Revenge of the Teacher’s Pet: A Love Story (LSU Press) and The Girl Who Ate Kalamazoo(St. Martin’s Griffin). His short stories have appeared in Puerto del SolThe Long StoryCottonwoodAlaska Quarterly Review, Night Train, Harpur Palate, Laurel Review, The MacGuffin, and other journals.  He is currently Assistant Professor of English at Central Michigan University.
