
West Liberty, W. Va., April 24, 2025 – West Liberty University’s (WLU) Division of Music will host its annual Honors Recital at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 4 in the Elbin Auditorium, College Hall. The recital is free and open to the public.
The recital celebrates outstanding musical talent in WLU’s Division of Music. Students are selected for the Honors Recital through a competitive audition.
Five WLU students will perform in the 2025 Honors Recital. They include:
Ken Kittell, Coshocton, Ohio
Ken is a sophomore pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education and studies piano with Dr. Gerald Lee. Upon graduating, he plans to teach music in the public schools.
Nicholas Reidmiller, Parkersburg, West Virginia
Nicholas is a senior pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in Percussion Performance and studies with Dr. Mitchell Greco. Upon graduating, he plans to pursue freelance percussion gigs while continuing his work in the marching arts, via instruction, composition, and participation.
Aaron Thorn, Paden City, West Virginia
Aaron is a sophomore pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education and studies trombone with Professor Evan Robinson. Upon graduating, he plans to teach music in the public schools.
Naomi Torres, Richmond, Virginia
Naomi is a freshman pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education and studies voice with Dr. Linda Cowan. Upon graduating, she plans to pursue a master’s degree in music education.
Logan Zumpano, Shadyside, Ohio
Logan is a freshman pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education and studies percussion with Dr. Mitchell Greco. Upon graduating, he plans to teach music in the public schools.
